Sam is married to Gina. They have two kids, Brooks and Evelyn Rose. He is an Anglican priest, serving as a part-time curate at All Saints Little Shelford, just outside of Cambridge. His doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, carried out under the supervision of Stephen Hampton, looks at a theological campaign against a certain sort of continental Arminian theology in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century Church of England. He remains fond of his seminary community in the U.S., Gordon-Conwell, and grateful to the churches that encouraged his journey to Cambridge. He has contributed to Everyday Theology, and the ‘Great Books Friday’ series at TGC’s Historical Theology for Everyone.
